Wild Fish Cap
I patterned this cap after an unadorned Irish field worker's hat from the 9th century. It is named after the fish motif ribbon on the cuff. I received two yards of this ribbon as a gift several years ago, and I was so enamored with it that I located two bolts, woven in a factory that has since then burned down.
Available in wools only. This cap is hand sewn and unlined, with a padded wool cuff and a pair of glass fish suspended from a spiral of braid. This hat is designed to fit just above your ears and is my personal favorite.
