Stacked Hat
This piece was designed for a live action promotion of a local (and Hugo award winning) gaslamp fantasy comic called Girl Genius. But before it could be worn, the illustrator changed the costume for the character (Master Payne, Vol IV, "The Circus Meets Bang"), thus rendering the hat obsolete. This piece of local literary history can now be yours!
Made from brocade and printed fabric 'donuts' stacked over a buckram cone, with gold vinyl connecting ribbons with beaded wire overlay, this hat weighs just over 2 pounds and stands 15 inches tall from the fake fur cuff to the tip of the wobbly star.
