This four panel hat is patterned after the headwear you might see in "The Stans" countries of Central Asia. This one is painted and embroidered linen with corded seams and a fur cuff. The other example shown here is called a Medici, with applique work on top and a padded fabric cuff. It was inspired by the vaulted ceilings in the corridors outside of the Medici Palaces in Florence.
