Welcome to The Phoenix Files!

This blog is a collection of papers and how-to articles I have written, as well as my travel journals and general announcements. Scholarly works from "The Library" on my old website, are labeled here as "Historica Tractatu."

My travels have had heavy influence on my work and are the 'back story' behind many of my designs. Some of my older journals are revised from the original, and most link to photo albums on Facebook.

October Notes ...

Posted by on 10/7/2014 to News & Miscellanae

As I ramp up for my busiest season of the year, most of my communications will be on Facebook.  I am devoting most of my efforts to promoting other artists for the Northwest Art Alliance, for which I am now the (volunteer) Communications Director.  Read more about our upcoming shows a little further down this page.

A few things I wanted to highlight for you here:

One of the more interesting projects I am engaged in is the virtual rebuilding of a vintage kufe, whose owner rescued the remains of the hat after it was badly mauled by the family dog.  I have posted photos and notes regarding the process of this project as a Facebook album entitled Restoration.

Upcoming Events -----

Please see my calendar for a full listing of my fall events and galleries.
