The Millinery Artisan Guild of the Pacific Northwest presents "A Showing of Fall & Winter Hats" on September 25-26.
The event will take place on Friday from 5-8 PM and Saturday from 9 AM - 2 PM at the Phinney Neighborhood Center, 6532 Phinney Ave. N. in Seattle. Find us in Room 7, showing off our newest works to keep the chill away during the upcoming winter season. Bring your favorite coat, jacket or evening ensemble along and our professional hatmakers will help you to find the best match.
For a preview of selected artists, please click here to visit our Event Page on Facebook.
This show is my only local one for this year. I am no longer represented in Washington State or Alaska, but you may still find my hats at the galleries and art schools listed on my "Find Me" page. I am working on getting into a small gallery in Eugene OR. If you have a favorite gallery that you would like to see my hats in, please send me their name or website link so I can make an introduction.
I am currently working on restocking my website, and am actively taking custom orders. Please contact me by email if you would like to set up an appointment. Be forewarned that admission to my studio comes in the form of the new Brother Shopcats, who are likely to roll over onto your feet for belly rubs ... (as the phone tech who visited me yesterday will attest to...)
Those of you who receive my newsletter or who follow me on Facebook may have read about my plans to travel to Egypt and Jordan in the spring. I have now cancelled that trip and the associated GoFundMe campaign, as well as the Silent Auction fundraiser that was to be hosted by Seymour Stained Glass Studio in October. I also cancelled my Phoenix Rising event this year, normally held in August, for lack of sufficient time and resources.
A new travel plan is still in the works. As a certain pirate in a certain pirate movie once said: "Keep your eye on the horizon"...
